Chris Fedosky: Bass, Composition

Chris Fedosky was born in Arkansas and grew up in Wisconsin playing guitar and electric bass. After a few years in Boston, he moved to NYC in 2000, where he began composing and playing the double bass.

Chris attended the Jazz Performance BFA program at CCNY; studied privately with Nicholas Walker, Sean Smith, Mark Helias, Scott Colley, Dennis Masuzzo, and Tony Malaby; and spent two summers interning h: at the School for Improv (Center for Improvisational Music).

For the past five years, Chris has lived in Brooklyn heading up the Sq.T.M.C. among other projects


Juan Pablo Carletti: Drums, Composition

Juan Pablo Carletti was born on may 1973 in Buenos Aires his father was a percussionist and his mother used to listen to R & B all the time, he began studyng drums with famous drummers from argentina, Fernando Martinez, Quintino Cinalli and Pepi Taveira. He studied piano and harmony with Adrian Iaies and Enrique Norris. Performed with many bands and his mainly interest was focusing on improvised music and playing mainstream jazz, he studied with Barry Alshchult when he visited Argentina, played with some of the most important musicians , like argentinian jazz elder Hernan Merlo, (with whom realesed a CD in trio with Lucio Balduini) starting a small label dedicated to new music, a year later produced Enrique Norris solo piano Logomaquia. Performed in every jazz venue in Bs.As. and played with some improviser from around the world (le quan ninh, bohb rainey, david haney) trough a close relation with percussionist dancer Diego Chamy.

He participed in collaborations with Contemparary music composer Gabriel Paiuk. Performed with evey major jazz musician in Bs. As. As a sideman and opening jams, included one of his big influences Enrique Norris. In 2005 traveled to NYC played with David Haney group with another drummer , one of his early heroes Andrew Cyrille and study with Tim Berne, Mark Helias, Tom Rainey, Gerald Cleaver, Nasheet Waits, Mat Maneri and Tony Malaby who encouraged him to move to NYC.

In 2006 performed with his own groups including Rodrigo Dominguez, Jeronimo Carmona and Paula SHocron, participated and recorded in the big electric combo Datrebil directed by guitar wizard Wenchi Lazo with Franco Fontanarrosa, Lobi Meis. In 2007 move to NYC and began playing with some of the most adventourus players from the scene.

Andrew Hadro: Flute, Clarinet, Baritone Sax, Bass Clarinet

Andrew Hadro was born in Mexico City and spent his childhood in Sao Paulo, moving to the Chicago area in 1991. There, Hadro began his musical studies on the flute and taking up the baritone saxophone soon thereafter. He is a recent graduate from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City.

He is active in the New York scene and involved in several projects including performances with his own band, and currently tours with Jazz Legend, Junior Mance’s quintet.

Dustin Carlson: Guitar

Dustin Carlson is a guitarist and composer who lives in the Bronx his current projects include his own “We Are the Financial Crisis,” Will McEvoy’s “Mutasm,” and of course the Squiggletone Music Company.

Brad Henkel: Trumpet

Brad Henkel is a Brooklyn-based trumpeter/improvisor/composer.

He is a founding member of the horn trio Buckminster, and ‘Swirm, a duo with drummer David Grollman.

Alex Violette: Flute, Bass Clarinet, Tenor Sax, Soprano Sax

Born in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, and raised on the north shore of Staten Island, Alex Violette is now back in Brooklyn living near the Broadway Junction. He has been a freelance musician of many styles since graduating from LaGuardia High School of Music and Art in ’03 and City College of New York in ’07.

He leads his own hiphop jazz quintet and plays contemporary gospel music at church in East New York every Sunday. As a sideman he regularly plays tenor and soprano saxophones, bass clarinet and flute in a range of styles from hiphop and jazz to reggae-infused pop to total Squiggletone-y free-play. He has appeared on several recordings as a guest soloist.
